Leon stood at the top of a tree looking down at the forest, the greens of the tree leaves, the colours of the plants and the smells of the forest made him smile. He loves the forest, he feels at home here, high in the trees with only the beasts of the forest for company... not always good company but hey you cannot be the top of the food chain everywhere!
He heard a soft whine and jumped quickly and effortlessly down to the ground from tree to tree and branch to branch. He took a moment to savour the feel of the earth un his bare feel and the slight earthy breeze drying the water from the trees on his bare chest, arms and legs. The whine came again and he set off after it a his full speed.
The trees became a blur as he dodged past them to reach the noise, the sound of pain. He stopped as he saw a pack of wolves lying on the grouns with a clearly old and dying wolf in the center. Leon slowly crept forward attracting the gazes and growls of several younger wolves. The elf reached hims mind out to them, letting them feel that he was no danger and also telling them so in Elvish, "It's ok my friends. I am here to grieve with you my brothers!"
He walked to the dying wolf and knelt before him, scratching his ears, "Hey there old pal. Should have known it would be you huh?" he said with a tear running down his cheek as the wolf placed his head on Leon's shorts.

Tuala was walking through the forest, she usually did so when she had nothing else to do, when she heard a strange noise. Her head snapped up, trying to pick up where the sound had come from and what it was. She decided to follow the sound.
As she got closer to the source, she could smell the scent of wolves. But, she could also smell something different, something that didn't belong with the scent of wolves. She cocked her head to the side slightly then continued on. Up ahead, she saw a group of about twelve wolves circled around someone who was kneeling on the ground, with something in front of him. He had no shirt on. How strange she thought.
She decided that she would go and find out what exactly was going on. As she drew closer, the wolves looked up at her. Low rumbles began in their throats which then turned into fierce growls. But as she neared, fear filled their eyes and many bolted, except for one, who stood near the boy and whatever was in front of him. It moved closer to the kneeling figure.
Tuala stopped a few metres away and looked at the scene with a raised eyebrow.

Leon looked up as the wolves scattered, a frown graced his face as he lay his eyes on the woman who caused the beasts to run. "You may want to go. They didn't run away." he said to her with a knowing grin, "No? Well I guess I can't have killing my friends."
He turned to the other wolf with him and spoke to her in Elvish, "Call them back. She can kill a great many of you and today is not a day for more death." he then then kissed the dying wolf and turned to the female as the other wolf howled. "Why are you here vampire?" he asked with a slender eyebrow raised.

What typ of language is that? she thought to herself as the boy spoke to the wolf. Tuala turned her gaze to the wolf as it began howling.
A growl rose up Tuala's throat. It sounded a lot like the wolves', yet fiercer. "How do you know.." she asked angrily, trailing off when she saw the tip of a pointed ear. "You're an elf" she said. "So that's what that smell is."
Tuala could here the sound of the padded feet of the wolves as they slowly came back. Two appeared from behind the trees, walking cautiously towards the elf. Several others followed. Tuala walked closer. "Am I not allowed to be walking through the forest?" she asked. She had calmed down now.

"That you are a vampire? Elementary." he said with a grin, "If you were human and saw all these wolves you would be running that a way. If you were an Elf you would have assured them you mean no harm, stood and watched or paid your respects and left." he explained to her before he looked at her with an unamused look through his hair. "So you are saying I smell. I'll have you know I showered this morning lassie!" he said with a straight face as he stared daggers at her.
He was pulling her leg, he knew what she ment, knew it was the scent of his race she was talking about. He smiled at her, "You can do what you want Miss. But as I vampire you should be able to tell he is dying, respect alone should have stopped you distubing them." he said and stroked the side of the wolf, a deep sadness rising within him, "You can wait if you want and then we can talk properly. It won't be long now..."

"I guess you are right" she said, smiling. "And yes, I am saying you smell, but in a good way." she stared back at him.
"I can tell that the creature is dying" she said pausing. She had heard the slow heartbeat of the wolf, which was beating slower every minute. "As for respect, well you surely know of the feud between wolves and vampires. Even though it isn't a werewolf, it still shares the blood of one." she said. "And besides, I didn't come here to disturb them, I culd smell a strange smell; your scent, and I was curious."
She didn't answer his last question, but instead slowly stepped forward towards the elf and the wolf. She reached out her mind, touching the wolf's conciousness softly. She bent down next to the elf, laying her hand gently on he wolf's soft hide.

Leon chuckled and grinned at her, "Of course I smell in a good way. I'm an elf. Much nicer blood than the fatty humans." he said and winked. He laughed and shook her head, "I also know that lycanthropy is a curse, not wolf blood. I know to that wolves were to vampires as dogs are to humans. The one who made the curse should be tortured in Hell for eternity."
"In this case does curious mean peckish? Wanted to try a new exotic beverage?" he asked her with a grin as he felt the wolf shudder. "Excuse me." he whispered knowing she would hear it he bent down to the wolf's ear and started whispering in Elvish. When the beast died Leon got up and muttered another few words in his first language and drew a shape in the air that when completed glowed bright blue, revealing the Elven word for the Earth.

"Well I wouldn't know, I've never tasted the blood of an elf." She said "I guess there is only one way to find out" she said licking her lips and baring her teeth, canines sharp and curved. Her eyes turned black. She laughed and closed her mouth, eyes changing back into the brown they normally were.
"Actually, no" she said "I wouldn't have feasted on you even if you were human." She gave a small nod as he softly spoke to the wolf in that strange language. Elven, she guessed. She stepped back and watched as he drew something in the air. "What is that?" she asked curiously.

He smiled at her and chuckled, "I guess there is." he said as if he wanted it. He didn't even flinch as he went all vampy, she wasn't the first vampire he has seen. In fact she is far from it. "My other eye colour is far better than yours." he said and stuck his tongue out, "The colour of starlight, all silver and shiny. The complete opposite of yours huh?"
He assumed she ment the rune, "It's Elvish, my dialect of it anyway. It means Earth, the planet. His lifeforce is returning to her, feeding her and her plants. As will his body feed others. Goodbye old friend." he told her and walked over to her. "So what do you wanna do? You can try some of my blood if you like. Just know that if you don't stop when I say I will hurt you." he offered with a sad smile.

"Your other eye colour?" She said questioningly.
"Interesting" Tuala said, staring at the elven word. Her gaze flashed to the elf, horrified by his offer. "No, I couldn't possibly". Several of the wolves stepped towards the dead one, nuzzling it. She took in a deep breath, trying to get the thought of drinking his blood out of her head.
"I guess instead, I should probably introduce myself. My name is Tuala" she smiled sweetly.

"Yep." he laughed and winked at her, "Of course your chances of seeing it are almost nothing. I don't just show it to anybody or whenever it takes my fancy."
The rune stared to fade and Leon looked back at the vampire to catch her look, a look of horror, "You are one of them huh?" he asked her with a grin and a shake of his head, "A vampire that doesn't feed off of that which you are designed to hunt."
"Leon Merlin Belmont." he said simply and walked away from the scene, his heart heavy, "You coming?"

"Sounds very interesting" she said, looking at his eyes, picturing them as the silver colour he described. She loved the colour of starlight, because of how much she loved the night. Not because she was a creature of the night, no, because it was quiet and calming. At night she could wonder around, with no-one to bother her.
"Yes, I am one of those vampires" she said, a mixture of sadness and anger filling her voice.
"Pleasure to meet you, Leon" she said with a forced smile. She watched as Leon began to walk away. "Why not?" she said, then began to follow him.

"It isn't really, I just look cool as hell." he chuckled with a smile, that is until I start going crazy and killing everyone that is. Heck maybe I still look cool then. The elf then looked at her for a long moment and sighed, "Well whatever rocks your boat. But you should know that you either are or will deprive your boyfriend of a hellava lot of pleasure. Vampire bites are really good."
"So Miss Tuala what do you want to do?" he said with a smile

"Last time I heard, cool is not the right definition of hell." she laughed. "Boyfriend?" she chuckled. "Yes really good.
"Hmm" Tuala thought for a moment "What do I want to do? Well, shall we just walk?" she asked "You can tell me a bit about yourself and I can do the same" she said with a smile.

"I bet you hell is all flowers and pure water and peace with demons being beautiful and nice while heaven is all fire and brimstone and the angels are ugly as can be." he said with a chuckle and a wink, "You know cause the church are evil bastards that make up crap to prove stuff and make more money -which is a sin by the way- and make other religons evil and they will eat your babies and crap. So hell may very well be cool."
Leon then shrugged, "Sure but you go first. I'm not in the mood to talk about me right now." he said with a weak smile.
